First Violin Lesson

Ryan's mom pulled out her violin one night when we were over and Sydney was in awe of it. She sat and stared as she played and loved it! Because she was so into it, Nonna decided to pull out the tiny violin she had that Ryan used to play. Sydney had so much fun playing duets with Nonna.

Summer Fun at the Beach

In July, we were able to visit my dad and sisters for a long weekend. Syd experienced the beach for the first time this summer, went on the rides in Ocean City, and watched her Uncle Dave play baseball for the Camden Riversharks.

She wasn't a big fan of the sand touching her feet, so these water shoes were a huge lifesaver.

Ryan's mom drove down on Saturday to hang out with us at the beach. It was so fun having her there and so sweet of her to make the long drive.

We met up with some friends who have a daughter who is Syd's age. It was so fun to watch Syd and Emma on the rides together!

Sydney wasn't too sure about this ride. She shed a few tears in the beginning.

Camden has a beautiful stadium that sits right under the Ben Franklin Bridge. Sydney loved climbing up and down from her seat when she wasn't watching Uncle Dave bat. She even enlisted the help of the man sitting next to her, to help hold the seat down so it wouldn't snap up as she climbed.

Sydney loved this shark! She didn't get that close to him, so maybe that's why she loved him so much.
