Me: "Sydney what do you want to be when you grow up?"

Syd:  "I don't know"

Me:  "You could be a teacher, a singer, a doctor, a nurse, a dancer. . ."

Syd: "or a mermaid"

Today we finally got to meet Sienna who is only 5 days old!  Her dad, Rob, was one of my best friends growing up and it's so fun watching him as a dad now.  He's such a good dad!  Sienna - you're a lucky girl!  And you've got an amazing mom too!  Monday night Sydney and I tried making the trip to visit Sienna in the hospital, but who would've guessed Chester County Hospital is in West Chester, PA not Chester, PA.  We ended up an hour from home and 45 mins. from the hospital.  Both Sydney and I were extremely disappointed but knowing we could see her today made things much better!

 Sydney loved playing with Rob.  She especially loved getting tickled!

It's Christmas Tree Time!

We thought we'd get an early start this year and actually pick out our Christmas Tree before Thanksgiving, so we headed to our usual farm Sunday afternoon.  We thought it would be warmer than it was but after throwing on some extra layers we were all set!

 Sydney thought this was the perfect tree for us!

For a little while now one of Cole's favorite things to do is play peek-a-boo.  I finally got it on video. We just love his funny little personality!

Sydney's 3rd Birthday Tea Party

Sydney asked for a tea party this year, so this morning we celebrated her 3rd birthday with a tea party.

 She got a Tinker Bell dress for her birthday and decided this is what she wanted to wear to her tea party.  We had lots of dresses to choose from when the girls got there.

 Sydney told me before the party that she was a little nervous about when people sang "happy birthday" to her.  I said I'd hold her hand and she could just smile up at me. 

Thank you girls for making Sydney's 3rd birthday so special and for all of your sweet gifts!  She's blessed to have such good friends!
