Happy 1 Year Birthday Sweet Cole!

We can't believe one year ago we were in the hospital and we were just about to meet our little guy!  We love having a little boy and it's really been fun seeing his personality come out.  Cole has been an amazing sleeper from the begining, but I think a large part of that is because he sucks his thumb.  He's always been very curious and observant.  When we hold him, he's constantly searching the room for what he can get into.  And anytime I wear my hair a little different he keeps looking at me and smiling.  Glad he approves!  He loves to explore and will use whatever chair is nearby to get up high to continue his exploring!  He just started giving kisses and hugs when we ask him.  He loves to laugh with his big sister, Sydney too!  We love watching them together!  We love you sweet little Cole and are so glad God gave you to us!

Favorite Easter Pics

We used Resurrection Eggs this year to help Sydney understand the real reason we celebrate Easter.  Each day she opened up an egg and it had a symbol that represented Christ's death and resurrection.  She really looked forward to seeing what was in each one.  It was neat to see her ask questions and want to know more. 

Here's a glimpse into some of our Easter festivities. . .Nonna and Syd decorated some eggs together.

 We also dyed some eggs together as a family.  Even Cole got in on the action, and lasted a whole 30 seconds.

Today's is Besty's birthday!  We're so glad she became a permanent part of our lives back in October!  We love you Besty!  Sydney wanted to send you a little message.

Cole's Dedication to the Lord

This past Sunday we had Cole dedicated at our church.  He did a great job and looked quite handsome I might add.  One thing I totally forgot to get was pictures of our family after the service.  We were so blessed to have our families there with us!

 They asked Sydney to tell everyone what her brother's name was.  In her sweet little voice she said, "Cole Creeden."

 Cole had his thumb in his mouth almost the whole time and then at the very end he decided he wanted to chime in!

Cole loves getting tickled by Poppy's beard.  He was full of smiles!

We can't get over how big Cole's getting! It won't be long before he's walking on his own!

These are a few of their favorite things

Cole has discovered how much fun it is to get from one place to another by pushing this toy as well as a plastic chair around rather than crawling. 

 Going through our bathroom drawers is also one of his favorite pasttimes!

 I love the way he crawls right up to the window next to our front door and stares outside. 

 So I decided Cole's hair was getting a little long and I thought using a #4 attachment on Ryan's hair clippers wouldn't do too much damage.  But I think I made a mistake.  I feel like I just made him age by a lot of months and when they're babies that's a lot!
